What happens when I exceed my monthly checks on the Sandbox plan?

The Sandbox plan has a hard limit of 100 checks per month. Once reached, requests will be rejected until the next billing cycle. Upgrade to the Pro plan for overage support.

How do overage charges work on Pro and Scale?

Pro charges $0.005 per check beyond 10,000/month. Scale charges $0.003 per check beyond 50,000/month. Overage charges are billed at the end of each billing cycle.

What are Evidence Tags & Confidence Scores?

Available on Pro and Scale, Evidence Tags provide detailed metadata about each verification decision — including which signals contributed to the verdict, confidence scores, and risk factors — forming a complete audit trail for AB 1043 compliance.

What are Cryptographic Audit Receipts?

Every Pro and Scale response includes an HMAC-SHA256 signed verification token containing the verdict, age bracket, confidence score, and evidence tags — with zero PII. Store the receipt in your own logs and verify it with A3 if a dispute arises.

What is the Face Estimation Fallback?

During the AB 1043 transition period (Jan–Jul 2027), some devices may not provide an OS-level age signal. The Face Estimation Fallback accepts age-range output from supported providers (Yoti, Privado, FaceTec) as a supplementary signal — no raw images are ever transmitted.

Can I switch plans at any time?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect immediately with prorated billing.
